November 5, 2014 the most amazing thing happened.  Our beautiful grand daughter was born.  She came into this world a little too slowly (mommy had to have a c-section) but she is the most beautiful little angel ever. If you have read my blog you know there was a wonderful wedding and now baby!!
I have two amazing grandsons whom I adore..Tall, handsome 18 year old Duncan and my charming, witty, cute as a button 13 year old Quinn.. But they live all the way across the country so I so not get to see them very often.  Alanna lives close enough for me to see her and hold her and smell her.  Why is it that babies smell so darned intoxicating.  They smell better than a new car or fresh bread.

As I write this Miss Alanna is already six months old (yes I know I am really behind). She is wonderful, bright, happy and totally dedicated to being precious. If  I sound like a proud grandma I am.  She is a sweet spirit blessing our days and nights.  Now this is not to say that she is without a fault or two. She is not crazy about napping.  She really prefers her milk from the Amanda tap and not the bottle and she is trying very hard to get mobile on her own.  All in all..just the cutest thing ever.
